Agon Continental Limited hereby sets out this Labour and Industrial Relations Policy, which shall be made effective without prejudice to the labour and industrial relations policies and laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as well as international labour laws.

 It shall be the policy of Agon Continental Limited to put in place a functional framework that will:

1. Ensure the health and safety of persons at work;
2. Protect persons at work against risks to health and safety arising out of, or in connection with, the activities of persons at work;
3. Restrain the keeping and use of explosives or highly flammable or otherwise dangerous substances and generally prevent the illegal acquisition of, possession and use of such substances; and
4. Control the emission of noxious or offensive substances into the environment.

It shall be the policy of Agon Continental Limited to ensure efficient and effective conduct of community affairs, security and other related issues as it affects the company and her host community.

This policy shall respect the supremacy of the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in conjunction with other international laws and conventions. The policy also recognizes the institutional roles of security agencies as stipulated by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The policy shall also be implemented in concordance with community affairs and security provisions of our client companies.
